Job Description:

We are seeking a Human Resources Representative – CONTRACTOR ROLE for a very important client.

The Human Resources Representative will have the opportunity to provide centralized support for Human Resources Business Partners and work directly in support of our internal clients; employees and managers.

Essential job functions include:

- Serving as a key employee contact for a variety of questions associated with employee benefits and human resources processes, e.g. new hire onboarding, new hire forms, performance management, payroll, medical and dental, worker’s compensation claims, etc.

- Process new hire I-9 forms and other new hire data.

- Create and file employee forms and documents.

- Maintaining accurate Workday data entry and reporting, processing of all new hire paperwork and employee terminations in assigned client groups, and maintaining up-to-date and accurate employee files.

- Address employee and manager questions.

- Assist managers in making updates in Workday.

- Additional duties include special projects as assigned and general administrative duties.

- Support investigations by taking notes during interviews.

- Demonstrating ability to advise internal clients without being overly process driven.


The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

Qualified candidates will have:

- 2-4 years business experience, at least one year plus work experience in a client centric HR organization.

- Excellent customer service and communication skills are necessary in order to present the Human Resources department professionally when contacting all internal and external clients.

- Must possess the ability to learn quickly and have strong business expertise and savvy.

- Ability to maintain confidentiality is a must.

- Must have excellent PC skills including MS Office and PeopleSoft.

- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent work experience required.
