TRUST is a communications collective providing expertise in public relations, brand identity, business strategy, and consulting. We’re looking for a dynamic, well-versed, and adaptable individual who is looking to learn the ins and outs of the PR/Marketing field within a small, close-knit team setting.

Typical Responsibilities (this does not include all but is a basic list):

- Coordinate client projects for press outreach, involving direct email communication with the media as well as our top clients

- Research media target names and contact information for a variety of publications in the technology, business, marketing/advertising, design and lifestyle/culture industries

- Write creative pitches for target outreach that are straightforward yet attention-grabbing; excellent understanding of vocabulary and language a major plus here

- Work within Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign for client social media projects (note: this will require good knowledge of social platforms, adobe templates and general stylistic challenges)

- Some knowledge of dropbox and standard conversion of files for case studies involving client press action

- Experience using Google calendar and scheduling meetings/appointments for client purposes; previous assistant internship and/or entry level position in the administrative field is a plus

-Research panels, conferences, general events that will aid in the promotion of our top clients and their brand’s development

-Assist the project coordinator with any pertinent tasks at hand on a daily basis

- Undergraduate student working towards a bachelors degree

- College credit permissions required - UNPAID

- Previous internship experience is preferred in the media, marketing or PR field - but not required

- An interest in the PR/Marketing/Media field

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (mostly word and excel), Adobe Creative Suite (photoshop, indesign, illustrator), WordPress, and Google sheets

- Experience in corporate/client communications to some degree, meaning you can formulate an email that is professional, straightforward and in friendly demeanor

- Fast learner who is comfortable working within the constant transition of an intense and fast paced environment, then back to a more consistent dynamic

- Master of deadlines and time management

-Will be located in the New York City area for the duration of January through May 2019 (this is NOT a virtual position)
