The Manager of Oracle EBS Applications will work directly with the HR and Finance business teams to provide solutions to business challenges and strategies by working closely with IT business partners and internal staff. The resource will also have supervisory responsibility for other HR and Finance analysts, including the review and approval of designs, priority setting and overall resource management.

The role will report to the Senior Director of Enterprise Systems and will be the primary daily contact between our Company and our outsourced partners that support the Oracle EBS technology stack.


• Interface with department management to establish a priority listing for all:

• New application requests

• Updates to existing application

• Interface between applications requested by other functions and finance

• Communicate, co-ordinate and prioritize activities by establishing an IT priority list of requests.

• Track and maintain status update of all projects with regular reports to department management.

• The role will also be the primary daily contact between our company and out outsourced partners that support our Oracle EBS technology stack.

• Manage Oracle Help Desk and respond to end user support tickets. Escalate tickets to appropriate individuals as needed.

• Ensure appropriate security and audits the security features to ensure only authorized access to data entry and control of changes.

• Provide support in coordination with IT systems staff for Oracle applications, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets, HR, Payroll, etc.

• Manage and coordinate development of EIS reports with support from IT team.

• Direct and coordinate activities of project personnel to ensure project progresses on schedule and within prescribed budget.

• Review status reports prepared by project personnel and modifies schedules or plans as required. Prepare project reports for management, client, or others.

• Work closely with department leadership to gather functional requirements for Oracle EBS applications or third party applications that may interact with Oracle.

• Interact with leadership and end users to gather reporting requirements and prepare functional design documents for development.

• Develop and in-depth understanding of how boundary applications interface and utilize Oracle EBS data. Make appropriate improvement suggestions.

• Coordinate and provide orientation and training to new team members.

• Work on enhancement requests, gather business requirements, and prepare functional design documents for custom development in Oracle.

• Serve as the functional owner in analysis, design, development, and testing cycles for customizations, upgrades, and interfaces to Oracle EBS and boundary applications.

• Review current Oracle EBS configuration and provide improvement recommendations based on Oracle recommended best practices.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: (Submission Summary)

1. Minimum of 10 years IT experience, with the following specific experiences: Oracle ERP configuration, implementation, migration, and administration.

2. Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent business related degree.

3. Experience in implementing and supporting Oracle ERP Applications. Working in Oracle 12.2.

4. Ability to analyze and resolve difficult technical issues quickly in a high-pressure environment.

5. Oracle Finance, HCM and Payroll fundamentals

6. Experience in running Oracle E-business including activities like Patching, Cloning, Replication, System Administration, troubleshooting in HA and DR environments.

7. Be cognizant of license implications and propose cost effective solutions to business requirements

8. Proven experience with migrating Oracle applications from on premise architectures to off premise environments.

9. Good knowledge of SQL.

10. Experience administering Oracle EBS Financials, Supply Chain, and HR/Payroll applications.

11. Excellent analytical, problem solving, interpersonal and communicational skills.
