Regional Sales Manager – Turbomachinery – Americas and Asia - #5109

Location White River Junction VT or Chelmsford MA

Company is seeking a Regional Sales Manager in the Americas and Pacific Rim. This person must have experience in turbomachinery design and development and possess the requisite skills to build a high performing sales presence in the region. This innovative candidate will be responsible for driving profitable growth and will establish a mature sales pipeline for our Software business unit. The individual will plan all sales and business development activities with a focus on aligning company expertise with the client’s needs. The candidate will work in close collaboration with the Sales and Marketing team based here in the US and prepare technical proposals, negotiate directly with customers, and provide excellent customer service and product support which includes troubleshooting.

Candidate will need to be a team player with strong organizational skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office is a must and a working familiarity with HubSpot CRM is preferred. An ideal background includes past technical and sales experience in software and engineering services. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field with a MS or equivalent advanced engineering degree highly desired. A technical foundation in turbomachinery with a solid basis in business fundamentals is required. Experience in selling design or engineering software with 10 years of relevant sales experience is strongly preferred. Must be able and willing to travel both domestically and internationally.
