Job Description: We are looking for a Jr. Data Engineer with strong requirements analysis skills (gathering and dissemination of the actuarial modeling requirements) and knowledge who has experience working in an Actuarial team environment (working with Actuarial SME’s to design and implement new models including data visualization and spreadsheet knowledge such as SQL, Tableau, Macros, and VBA development). Experience in trouble shooting, system testing and reverse engineering of actuarial modeling data and support is required as is exceptional knowledge of data extraction/analysis using relational databases and/or Business Intelligence tools. Super strong SQL and Access knowledge is a prerequisite for this opportunity. Experience in the analysis and reporting of insurance data is a huge plus but not required – annuity products & features and complex modeling calculations.
