Job Description: We are looking for someone with insurance or financial systems domain experience who has excellent listening and analytical skills, facilitation skills, organizational skills, and the ability to lead people and help them through the challenges of change within a complex environment. You will be working with clients and other consultants to formulate plans outlining steps required to develop the program using structured analysis and design. You will be expected to develop user stories and break down requirements into deliverable functionality. You will need to analyze business issues and identify solutions that meet business goals in order to analyze application/business domain data requirements and business rules and formulate the understanding of the data flow from source to screen. You will provide analysis and scope of development projects to enable the approval and prioritization process as well as perform system analysis when needed to assist in use case development, solution design, and implementation activities. Finally, you will partner with subject matter experts, engineering teams, and vendors for scope prioritization to deliver world class scalable business solutions for the organization while assessing the risks of various solutions and prioritizing competing business demand flows.

Required Skills

Experience working within an agile development process, specifically with Scrum and backlog management tools

Experience/understanding of business process reengineering and business modeling concepts, business systems development and analysis

Analyze, test and document complex enhancements made to new and/or existing programs

Function as the liaison between the business line, operations, and the technical areas throughout the project cycle

Excellent organizational, planning, problem solving and decision-making abilities

Hands-on modeling to represent business activities in diagrams or other hands-on experience with documenting a system or a feature, as demonstrated by the use of unified modeling language (UML), or any other notation to represent a business need

Design and deliver project artifacts, including process workflows, business rules, wireframes, screen element specifications, user stories, and acceptance test cases

Design and develop materials and system structure, forms, and media that enhance insurance and document processes
