Job Description: We are looking for a PM who would be responsible for managing and maintaining complex systems including technologies that span the complete spectrum of IT systems: managed solutions, infrastructure, services, systems and enterprise software applications – excellent knowledge about all aspects of information technology specifically within complex infrastructure environments. Previous experience in enterprise program/project planning and management functions is highly desired. You will also be the focal point for project and/or program planning, execution, and implementation, control and delivery using industry best practices. You will be asked to manage complex system problems, system installations, major upgrades and enterprise roll outs – create and execute project work plan and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements. It is expected that you will document, track, and monitor daily issues in order to ensure high system availability and timely resolution. The installation of new systems, software/hardware platforms, backups, disaster recovery planning, managed services, system administration issues, vendors and contracts, budgeting, scope and change control initiatives, training, and status reporting will be required. It is expected that you will follow best practices and PMP guidelines and documentation as well detailed project scope analysis. You must demonstrate excellent interpersonal relations and teaming-building skills as well as being flexible and able to deal with a variety of problems and details simultaneously – ability to interact with a diverse group of staff including line of business and technical staff. Excellent problem solving skills and superior written and verbal communication skills are necessary in order to succeed. A minimum of 5 years of hands-on technical PM experience as well as a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science and at least 10 years of overall experience in IT is required. Project Management Professional certification is desired, but not required. Knowledge of the Project Management industry best practices and generally accepted standards dictated in the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBoK) is highly desired. Finally, the Project Manager must ensure that the program is completed on schedule and that the final product meets the business, technical, and established quality requirements.

Required Skills:

Strong financial management as this PM will oversee the financials not only for their assigned projects, but also for the overall claims small projects financial bucket

Excellent soft skills an absolute must

Given the regular face-off to the business, PM will need to be very flexible and able to work well with challenging stakeholders in an ambiguous environment

Strong verbal and written communication PM will need the ability (and comfort) communicating/presenting executive level-bullet point summaries at any given time

Heavily experienced in managing multiple dependencies

Experience as an IT Project Manager in an agile environment

Advanced/expert-level with Excel

Nice to have: Clarity and/or Insurance claims experience

1st Party Med Pay Auto Adjudication (create system logic to automate bill handling process. Scenarios include automating payment processing for treat/release & benefit exhausted cases. Claims associate would make a selection that would activate the automation)
