Overtime: 1.5 times normal rate as per provincial regulations.

Benefits Package: 4% vacation pay will be paid each payday on a bi-weekly basis;

Minimum Education:

Completion of High school. Candidate with a college degree from any recognized college/ university will be preferred.

Experience:

A minimum of 3 years of experience in a sales or customer interfacing role with an ability to sell organizational products.

Skills, Knowledge and Required Competencies:

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Preference will be given

to candidates who have the ability to communicate in French or Mandarin or

Cantonese or Hindi or Punjabi languages.

- Strong presentation skills to be able to demonstrate presentations at

events/ product fairs and Home Shows.

- Ability to work as part of a team and take initiative independent of

direct supervision.

- Physical demands: This position involves constant moving, talking,

hearing, reaching, grabbing and standing for at least two to three

consecutive hours. May occasionally involve stooping, kneeling, crouching

and climbing ladders.

- Good mathematical ability to perform on the spot calculations.

- Available to work a variety of shifts, which may include early mornings,

evenings, weekends and late evenings.

Job Description:

We are looking for a person who will be responsible for all sales activities and sales associate job duties, from greeting customers, answering questions, offering assistance, suggesting items, lending opinions and providing product information. Individual responsibilities may include demonstrating outstanding customer service and selling skills, keeping the selling floor stocked with merchandise, assisting in display of merchandise or organizing the selling floor and stock areas. The incumbent shall be responsible conducting Home Shows, set-up booths at the shows or fairs and demonstrate the organizational products and obtain client orders.

Job Duties:

- Meet and greet prospective customers and provide information on our

Services and products.

- Help customers make selections by building customer confidence; offering

suggestions and opinions.

- Cross-sell and encourage beneficial product add-ons.

- Report anything unusual, or any major incidents, to the management.

- Estimate or quote prices, credit terms, trade-in allowances, warranties

and delivery dates.

- Achieve daily/ weekly and monthly sales targets.

- Plan and conduct business presentations at Home Shows/events and fairs.

- Address complaints/ feedback received from the customers. Escalate matters

as per the organizational escalation matrix.

- Operate computerized inventory record keeping and re-ordering systems.

- Coordinate with delivery staff to ensure timely deliveries to customers as

per commitments.

- Prepare sales, rental or leasing contracts and accept cash, cheque, credit

card or automatic debit payment.

- Maintain sales records for inventory control.

- Complete other assigned duties by the management.
