Position Description: The Project Manager will be responsible for managing multiple large initiatives or projects involving cross-functional teams that include business partners, functional partners and technology partners. Manages initiatives from feasibility and concept development through testing, execution and closure following a formalized initiative management approach. This position requires a deep understanding of multiple Project Management methodologies and fundamentals and the ability to strategic as well as driving for results.

• Ability to effectively frame concepts and develop straw man operational models, even where ambiguity may exist

• Strong financial acumen; including comprehensive knowledge of financial terms and measures

• Strong decision-making skills, ability to adapt and react properly


• Assist senior executives across the enterprise in Project Initiation, Planning and Management. Identify Project objectives and strategic needs and translate those needs into Project Charter, Definition, Decision Packages and Plans. Planning focus is tactical

• Validate the alignment of the Project(s) with business and financial objectives, and also with Application, Data and Technology strategy

• Drive execution of all phases of enterprise-wide or high complexity projects. Project Management considerations include, but are not limited to: scope, risk, quality, change management

• Manage competing demands relevant to scope, schedule, cost, risk and quality; and differing stakeholder requirements and expectations

• Manage dependencies, resource constraints, and issues across the project(s) including change management or business process challenges that create project risk

• Perform all aspects of project cost management – estimating, budgeting, and cost control, tracking and reporting

• Influences decision making to gain cross-functional alignment to achieve on-time execution of initiatives

• Deliver stakeholder level presentations on Project status to Business Executive teams as well as technology leadership on project status and risk

• Identify cross project dependencies, business impacts, and facilitate coordination of these where necessary

• Develop a structure for transitioning a large scale project from post prod support to steady state while dealing with daily issue resolution
