Job Description: Program Director ABA Therapy - BCBA

1. Create, supervise, and monitor all aspects of client treatment/behavior plans

2. Complete initial and ongoing training

3. Provide one on one therapy to children with autism spectrum disorders (as needed)

4. Conducts Functional Behavioral Assessments

5. Develops individualized goals and objectives for home, community, and center-based programs and designs behavior support plans based on functional assessment data

6. Ensures appropriate behavioral data systems are implemented such that quantifiable behavioral data is collected at regular intervals to allow for the continual evaluation of behavior plans and the achievement of individual goals and objectives

7. Teaches BCBA’s, BCaBA’s and Behavioral Technicians on the proper implementation of educational and clinical behavior programs and plans, data collection systems and all necessary monitoring and reporting systems

8. Conducts regular caregiver and/or teacher training and consultation

9. Administers, conducts, evaluates and supervises the implementation of behavioral assessment measures

10. Attend trainings, supervision, and workshops

11. Maintain a high level of professionalism including documentation and communication

12. Work collaboratively with parents and other professionals

13. Educates, observes, assesses, and supervises the clinical activities and service delivery of BCBA’s, BCaBA’s, QASP’s and Behavioral Technicians

14. Responsible for ongoing individual program oversight and conducting weekly supervision meetings with BCBA’s, BCaBA’s. QASP’s and Behavior Technicians or as needed based on supervision requirement set for by applicable boards and/or insurance companies

15. Meets regularly with agency Executive Director and Psychologist and notifies her/him immediately of issues impacting client’s progress and satisfaction

16. Completes all necessary documentation in a timely and satisfactory manner as requested by the Executive Director or Psychologist

17. Oversees and directs the scheduling of the BCBA’s, BCaBA’s, QASP’s and Behavioral Technicians as needed and ensure proper billing entry

18. Maintains billable caseload and documents billable hours

19. Develops written reports documenting behavioral recommendations for parents, caregivers and agency personnel in a timely and accurate manner

20. Understand, contribute to, and promote the mission of agency

21. Promotes brand to targeted communities and ensures that the brand is maintained

22. Assists with recruiting clients in need of ABA Therapy services

23. Assists with recruiting staff for the ABA Therapy Program

24. Assists the Executive Director with Program Development of the ABA Therapy program

25. Assists the Executive Director with creating, approving and monitoring the training programs for all RBT’s. Assist with training for BCBA’s or BCaBA’s, as needed.

26. Maintains a database of referral sources and contacts and follows up as needed to maintain positive relationships

27. Identify healthcare, social service providers and schools that provide service to the target population and report this information to the Executive Director for follow up

28. Under the direction of the Executive Director assists with planning, organizing, and implementing special events and activities relating to the ABA program

29. Collaborates with schools, military families, public and private hospitals and/or agencies and other stakeholders

30. Distributes informational and educational literature to obtain greater community visibility and participation, while keeping ethical guidelines in consideration

Required Qualifications :

Qualifications: Program Director ABA Therapy - BCBA

Must have a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Certification

At least 5-10 years of direct supervisory experience

5 years post BCBA certification experience

Must be Highly Organized

Must have a Flexible Schedule
