MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.

Training and Experience: Five (5) years of Instructional Design and LMS Administrator experience. Must have proven experience in the analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation of both ILT, e-Learning, and mobile-learning training: courses, training materials, training system documentation, curricula, and courseware as appropriate for the specific delivery order in accordance with contract standards. Must have experience in LMS Administration and performing tasks/skills analysis, media selection analysis, lesson specification, lesson development, training material development, and instructional system effectiveness evaluations. Experience with gaming and training video design/development, and project management experience. Portfolio/Work Samples will be requested for review.

Skills: Team-player with the ability to work independently and proactively in order develop high quality courseware meeting strict deadlines. Proficiency in LMS administration. Understanding of adult learning theory and Instructional Design development practices and methodology. Ability to conduct analysis and needs assessments in order to successfully work with subject matter experts, design, and develop targeted courseware to be used for instructor-led and eLearning training. Ability to organize and manage multiple projects and effectively communicate with business leaders, clients, subject matter experts, and staff to obtain the content required for courseware development. Must be able to communicate project updates effectively and meet deadlines. Seeking candidates who have strong analytical skills and are detail- oriented. Professional technical writing, verbal communication skills, and strong technology skills required.

Computer Skills: Tech-savvy and willing to learn new technologies to keep current with training industry standards and trends. Proficient in Microsoft Office Products, Adobe: Acrobat, Captivate, and Articulate Storyline. Microsoft SharePoint and LMS (Moodle). Mobile learning development, social media learning trends, and audio/narration. Gaming, simulation, video, and augmented/virtual reality knowledge a plus.

Security Clearance: Must be able to obtain a “Secret” security clearance after hiring.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Design, develop, review courseware for instructional integrity, adapting course objectives to conform to ISD standards, and adapting presentations to meet business requirements and standard formats (new design, fonts, graphics, etc.).

LMS Administrator: Ability to operate LMS to assign, load, and track courseware for students: to manage users, run reports, and troubleshoot issues.

Ability to follow and comply with CTI processes, standards of development, and style guides.

Ensure materials adhere to established formats, reflect approved objectives, and offer means for criterion based evaluation.

Daily interaction with CTI Instructional Design staff and Subject Matter

Experts to develop, evaluate, and ensure quality control of CTI products in adherence of CTI development standards and processes.

Ability to organize and manage multiple projects,effectively communicate with business leaders, clients, subject matter experts, and staff in order to obtain the content required for courseware development.

Must be able to communicate project updates effectively and meet deadlines.

Ability to review and edit student and instructor materials as required.

Review final courseware package by comparing course design, student guide, and lesson plans to ensure that there are no discrepancies or missing elements, and that the performance activities function.

Prepares final courseware package in order to post to distribution medium and notify instructional staff of its availability.

Research new technologies and techniques in the learning community.

Performs other duties as required and assigned by management.
