We are seeking a qualified and experienced Electrical Engineer with experience in project management and in the electrical design, construction, programming, and startup of industrial automation systems. The ideal candidate must be able to work both alone and as a member of a team. This is a great opportunity to work with an exciting “Engineered to Order” recycling industry company. Must live in a major metropolitan city in the USA AND be near a major airport to be considered.


Minimum of 2 years project management experience

Must have 5 plus years’ experience in industrial automation and electrical design

PLC input/output programming and troubleshooting

Direct systems programming

Allen Bradley PLC/HMI programming and drafting software (AutoCAD/AutoCAD Electrical) required

Working knowledge of low and medium voltage drives and AC and DC motor Designs and applications

Familiar with piping and instrumentation diagram for hydraulics

Excellent communication skills with customers, engineers, managers, and field personnel

Be willing and able to travel up to 50% domestically and internationally (need valid passport or be eligible to apply for one)

Must live near a major metropolitan airport


Bachelor’s degree electrical or electronic field preferred

Programming in Siemens PLC/HMI a plus

E-Plan drafting software

Prefer someone local or willing to relocate to the area

Working knowledge of SAP and Teamcenter
