Job Description:

Responsibilities:

• Drive the definition of automation test objectives, strategies, processes, standards and metrics and coach other disciplines so they understand how and when to add most value to a project through automation.

• Lead automation project plans, scope, schedule and implementation of test and project level architecture within the automation framework

• Participate in initiatives to identify and implement tools and utilities that enhance testing capabilities and product quality.

• Research available tools and lead or participate in initiatives to identify and implement those that will cost-effectively enhance testing capabilities and product quality.

• Plan testing for delivery of products and enhancements and to assure products meet product requirements and quality standards, partnering with Product Management, Project Management, Engineering, and Operations teams.

Requirements:

• Advance knowledge of QA methodologies, experience in process improvement.

• Excellent working knowledge of System Development Life Cycle, Software Testing Life Cycle and Defect Life Cycle.

• Experienced in Functional / non-functional testing, Benchmark testing, Integration testing, Regression testing, Smoke testing, and UAT Co-ordination.

• Excellent agile delivery and project management skills.

• Ability to implement continuous improvement process.

• Expert in Automated testing tools (J Unit / Jbehave, Selenium, Browser stack, Cucumber), alternative technologies within automation, architecture/frameworks, debugging techniques, multiple scripting and development languages and methodologies.

• Ability to create system level designs for multiple automation projects and architectures and promote, execute, and exemplify automation processes and methodologies in order to maximize output and solve new classes of problems

• Ability to provide input to other schedules and make trade-offs across projects and releases

• Experience working on MS SQL server with SQL skills.

• Experience in JIRA, Confluence.

• Experience in ruby, java

• Strong problem solving, programme and debugging skills in C# / .Net Framework

Qualification: A degree in computer science or related subject.

Salary: £43000 - £59000 Industrial standard and excess depends on experience

Visa: We sponsor VISA and travel documents to potential right skill candidates. Candidates living in UK currently will be given priority.
