Financial Systems Manager - for prominent global law firm in Washington, DC.

The Manager will provide technical support for Accounting department software applications, and support financial systems utilized for core accounting functions – GL, A/P, Billing, Collections, Expense Reimbursement and reporting. Candidate is responsible for developing automated reporting solutions using SQL, SSRS, Tableau and other reporting applications. This position oversees a team of financial and system analysts.

Duties and responsibilities for this position encompass all software upgrades and implementations; operational functions; data management and reporting, data integrity and automation and process improvement.

Position Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree (ideally in finance or Information Systems)

5+ years’ experience similar role

2+ years of supervisory/management experience

Proficiency with report development tools, desktop applications and concepts of relational database technology

Proven problem solving and organizational and time management skills

Superior interpersonal and written communications skills with ability to concisely summarize conclusions to senior management

Experience maintaining Accounting software applications required; experience implementing data management solutions is a plus

Prior experience with SQL, VBA, SSRS, XML and/or similar tools

Experience with data visualization software (Tableau or similar) is a plus

Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; proficiency in developing complex formulas

Salary is commensurate with experience.
