A managed IT Services provider with locations in New York, New Jersey and Texas has an immediate opening for a Tier 2 Support Specialist in Dallas, TX area. This position requires being on an On-Call schedule which will be shared with other member of the technical team. Applicant must be a self-starter, have strong communication skills, customer oriented, and business presentable. A Reliable vehicle for transportation is a must. This is Full Time position.

• Minimum of 4 years of experience providing end-user support for Microsoft Technologies and network infrastructure.

• Experience troubleshooting of Windows desktop environment (networking, OS, Microsoft Office suite, PC hardware, printers)

• Extensive knowledge of Windows Server (2012, 2016 and 2019) and Active Directory

• Experience with Virtualization platforms, specifically, VMware and vCloud

• Strong documentation skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Experience using automated helpdesk ticketing systems

• Able to convey technical issues and material to a non-technical audience

• Ability to work in a team oriented/collaborative environment

• Ability to multitask and prioritize workload, and adapt to new processes and procedures in a fast paced environment

• Able to handle confidential information in a reliable manner

Experience with any of the following is a PLUS:

• Asterisk/VOIP phone systems

• Storagecraft Backup

• Sonicwall appliances

• Connectwise

• Crystal Reports
