Head of Developers Research and Development in Davao Del Sur

To run the Research & Development department ensuring that it delivers a high level of value and enables the company to develop strong competitive advantages in the marketplace.

MUST HAVE 5 YEARS RELATED EXPERIENCE

SCRUM MASTER

-Excellent ability to lead, develop and manage a high-performance team of technical and engineering professionals.

-Ability to lead and inspire technical team members to strive for high levels of output and excellence and become more than they thought the could be.

-Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written.

-Ability to have frank and candid conversations with under performing teams members or team members who are not aligned with team and company culture in a positive manner.

-Strong work ethic and a very high level of commitment to the role.

-Fast learner with the ability to adapt and cope well with change.

-Highly driven and strongly self motivated.

-Positive,willing, accountable and adaptable.

Job Responsibilities :

-Act as the scrum-master within research and development running the scrum process for

the various teams within the department including sprint planning meetings, daily scrum meetings and sprint retrospective meetings.

-Ensure the scrum process is strictly adhered to in order to maximise the value delivered by each team within the R&D department.

-Work with the various product owners and the CEO and the Board of Directors to ensure the appropriate tasks are prioritised and completed for each sprint cycle.

-Manage the team members with the R&D department. Provide support and guidance to your team members as and when required. At all times, ensure high standards of conduct,professionalism and performance are maintained in your agency in accordance with

company's Management Policy and Management Manifesto. Also ensure that other high standards of technical professionalism are adhered to and maintained at all

times including coding standards, commenting and documentation, testing, source control and so on.

-Develop the capability of the team as directed by recruiting and onboarding new team members. Ensure that team members continue to develop their individual skills and expertise through ongoing training and development

-Fulfill reporting obligations as directed.

-Complete other tasks as directed from time to time.

-Be an ambassador and an advocate for the company at all times.
