The USDA, Agricultural Research Service, Nutrition and Genomics Laboratory, Jean-Mayer USDA Human Nutrition Research Center on Aging, Boston, Massachusetts, is seeking a POSTDOCTORAL RESEARCH FELLOW, (Research Statistical Geneticist) for a TWO-YEAR APPOINTMENT. Healthy dietary habits are paramount to reduce the risk of age-related diseases and achieve healthy aging. However, the large interindividual variation in response to diet calls for precision nutrition - more personalized and effective nutritional recommendations based on genomic information. To define the genetic, epigenetic and environmental factors responsible for the inter individual variability in response to dietary fat intake and cardiovascular disease (CVD) risk, the incumbent will join a team of leaders in the field of nutrition genomics to develop predictive algorithms of dietary response that will be tested and validated in intervention and cohort studies.
