Job description:

Deliver freight of all kinds to customers in a safe, professional and efficient manner.

ESSENTIAL POSITION REQUIREMENTS

• Load securement and assist in the loading and unloading of freight.

• Must have a CDL Class A license and clean driving record.

• Overnight and weekend trips are occasionally required.

• Ability to read and understand permit routes and requirements.

• Maintain neat accurate records (Fuel, mileage, expense, logs, etc

• Ability to read and understand paperwork.

• Prompt and dependable attendance.

• Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE

• High School Diploma or GED required.

• Verifiable driving experience.

• Special endorsements, certifications and or passport may be required.

• You may be required to obtain the proper permits for oversized loads.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

• Good communication skills.

• Ability to work independently.

• Must be professional at all times.

• Must be a safe and defensive driver.

• Must have knowledge of load securement and DOT HOS as per FMCSR.

o Expected to drive 600 mile radius, work 50-60 hours per week, gone 2-3 nights per week, home weekends unless volunteer, lift ramps weigh between 50-60 lbs, responsible for chaining and strapping loads.
