The Project Manager assists the team with understanding the diverse business needs of each client and the implementation of various Oracle E-Business Suites (EBS) and Oracle ERP Cloud applications based on proprietary software and utilizing company methodology. Manages complete projects and is responsible for overall on-time, on-budget delivery of successful implementation of Oracle EBS and Oracle ERP Cloud applications at client sites. Works closely with client executives to qualify business opportunities and manage client implementations. Involves C-level solution-oriented understanding for a broad range of Oracle products in targeted markets. Participates in pre-sales meetings and in the staffing process, conducts interviews, and provides feedback and recommendations.

• Leadership: Manage/Lead and guide work of teams on projects

o Coordinate and provide leadership in development of project plans, analysis, design, and development of complex mission-critical project implementation

o Work closely with other leads and managers within organization and foster collaborative relationships across team members

o Schedule and handle work load of team members

o Identify appropriate consultant for assignments

o Review and follow up on completion of tasks done by team to ensure quality of work

o Work with India/U.S. Managers to understand tasks to ensure India resources work on accurate requirements

o Ensure U.S. team provides sufficient information for work to be done in India

o Participate in calls, meetings, and efforts for more complex work

o Perform formal reviews

o Schedule education for staff

o Discuss and schedule vacations based on project requirements

o Informal review of consultant performance

o Participate in interview process and provide feedback on applicant qualifications and hiring

• Plan Projects: Manage projects from inception through Post Go-Live phases

o Position project and company methodology properly and professionally

? Ensure meeting agendas and minutes are produced

o Plan project and monitor progress and/or take corrective action

? Conduct team meetings every other day as appropriate with meeting minutes

? Maintain Issues Log

o Provide and present project status to client and team

? Weekly Status Reports

? Weekly Project Plans

? Steering Committee Presentations every 2 to 4 weeks

? Produce Budget to Actual reporting monthly or semi-monthly depending on length of projects

o Manage Technical Deliverables and Solutions

? Ensure OBA standard practices/procedures are followed if applicable

? Manage all activities related to Oracle environment(s) and instances

? Produce and update Gap list

? Provide developers with Programming Standards document

? Ensure Patch Log is current and maintained by instance

? Data Conversions

o Ensure Data conversion documents and templates are produced and accurate

o Build and adjust data conversion schedule

? Interfaces, Extensions, EDI, and other development

o Ensure functional specifications are produced for work greater than 3 days in scope

o Ensure technical design documents are produced, accurate, and signed off, if applicable

? Reports

o Publish report requirements list

o Ensure report specifications are developed and signed off

o Manage Conference Room Pilot process

? Produce and present CRP 2 and CRP 3 Kickoff Presentations

? Assist client with development of CRP 2 and CRP 3 schedules and scorecards

? Provide sample test scripts

? Assist client with development of Process Flow scripts

? Provide Stress Test Plan, if applicable

o Manage Go-Live process

? Create and manage detailed Cutover Plan covering client activities and duties including Production patching and code deployment

? Prepare and obtain approval of Go-Live Readiness Review Document

? Prepare and present Go-Live Risk Letter

o Other Management

? Provide business perspective to client management

? Escalate all schedule issues to management

? Ensure all relevant documents and codes are place into

? Identify additional account revenue opportunities

? Ensure adequate level of design documentation is generated given the type of project; FSD, FSA, and/or Setup documents

• Manage project budget and invoice process

o Ensure all hours are billed to client

o Ensure timesheet reporting is accurate and on time

o Approve invoices prior to distribution to client

o Follow up with open invoices

o Generate Project Change Notices (PCNs) before services start

• Participate in Pre-Sales activity, as needed

o Go on sales calls with Sales team, if required

o Provide solution options, if required

o Engage with prospective management


• Manage applications testing, user training and transition to new application

o Manage client business needs with technical constraints and project delivery schedules

o Train client project team on standard functionality and custom applications

o Manage application unit and cross-functional business flows testing by business users

o Prepare transition plan with functional business users for cutover to new applications

o Manager cutover activities to new application

• Perform all other job duties as assigned by immediate supervisor that can be successfully completed at the skill level required by this position


• Bachelor Degree

• Minimum 5+ years Oracle Applications implementation functional experience

• Minimum 3+ years Oracle Application Project Management experience, multiple projects, prefer at least one of which Cloud

• Knowledge of Best Practices for Manufacturing and Distribution

• Excellent knowledge of full business processes including how it translates to Oracle Applications across multiple industry segments

• Able to manage implementation teams including client personnel and interact with client senior management

• Able to estimate tasks, schedule tasks and manage resources and priorities

• Able to demonstrate high level computer skills and knowledge in MS Office, Outlook, Excel and Project

• Excellent management and leadership skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Excellent analytical capabilities

• Ability to interact effectively within a team and with client(s)

• Possess a valid driver’s license, personal car insurance and good driving record
