1: Prior Workday HCM implementations

2: 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst

3: MA in Business Management, Information Technology, Financial Management or similar relevant field

4: Workday HCM Business Process Framework

5: Workday HCM Reporting

6: MS Excel

7: Project Management.

8: Ability to travel up to 25% between San Francisco and Sunnyvale offices.

9: Outstanding communication and presentation skills

10: Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

The Workday business process analyst acts as the liaison between HR and other business units associated with the Workday project; completes requirements in support of projects; participates in or facilitates business process modeling and research efforts; and acts as a consultant, participates in all project phases and reviews all documents on project teams.

Duties and Responsibilities

== Be a Workday subject matter expert and act as a liaison between HR and other business units by:

== Opening and maintaining lines of communication to monitor and improve business unit satisfaction with HR, Providing a single point of contact for HR business units into IT and acts as a conduit between the two organizations, Making recommendations for product enhancements

== Participate in business process modeling sessions, acting as a documentarian, co-facilitator, facilitator or subject matter expert in sketch sessions.

== Conduct interviews and perform analysis to create business cases for projects.

== Participate in business process management group efforts to collect and analyze metrics and continually improve processes owned by the group.

== Participate in root cause analysis to recommend product enhancements or other appropriate actions to improve productivity for both the business units and IT.

== Create process documentation/workflows, knowledge articles and self-service guidance

== Collect and document of business requirements for project and process improvement/automation efforts

== Facilitate process workflow modeling in order to collaborate on process improvements, automation capabilities and clearly defined end-to-end use cases

== Review information and trends to ensure that the output of processes are achieving the desired results and that services are meeting agreed upon service levels

== Conduct maturity assessments against the process activities to highlight areas of improvement or concerns

== Identify issues and risks

== Bring inconsistencies and problems to the attention of management

== Participate in the problem resolution

== Track major incident management process and ensure adherence of the process and escalation requirements within the various support and delivery areas

== Prepare incident details for post-mortem incident reviews

== Extract reports and provide a high-level analysis of data for review

== Maintain a complete understanding of and adheres to all HR policies and processes
