Opening for a Cost Accounting/Inventory Manager with a food manufacturing client in Norfolk, NE. Candidates must have experience with cost accounting and inventory management.

Must Have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or other related field.

• 3-5 years previous experience in general/cost accounting, financial analysis, and inventory management in manufacturing environment.

• Exceptional organizational and analytical skills.

• Knowledge of computer software, business systems, and their applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the accounting for inventory movements including issuance of purchase orders, receipt of inventory, daily production reporting, work order preparation, and review of work orders including yield analysis.

• Oversight of inventory at 2 offsite warehouses.

• Oversight of all balances to ensure accuracy, completeness and existence of all balances.

• Ability to assist on logistics issues working in liaison with the corporate procurement team.

• Supervision of Office Assistants and potentially warehouse staff.
