Job Description:

We are seeking a Senior Order Management Specialist for a very important client

Manage the end-to-end order process from quote to cash. Maintain documentation and workflow in line with company policies and guidelines. Identify and implement process improvements related to order management and operations.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1. Review sales orders for compliance and enter into Oracle system accurately and in timely manner

2. Send sales order acknowledgments to customers and archives all supporting documents including order revisions, special approvals, customer contracts, and related communications for audit and review

3. Work frequently with Production Control to determine shipment dates based on customer’s needs and material & production availability

4. Coordinate with Finance and Shipping on credit limit and invoicing issues

5. Work closely with Sales Operations on exception approvals, backlog, revenue and bookings

6. Collaborate with Sales, Customer Care, and Service Support teams on issues related to order fulfillment and special requests

7. Generate weekly reports and ensure data accuracy and consistency

8. Ensure preventive and corrective actions are taken to improve processes and operational efficiency

9. Proactively identify and help implement enhancements to order management processes and tools to support a positive customer experience, streamline order processing, and provide scalable solutions

10. Participate and contribute actively in projects within area of responsibility

Requirement:

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills:

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

1. Bachelor’s Degree preferred or solid work experience in lieu of degree

2. 2-3 years Order Management, Project Management, or Customer Service experience with the highest level of accuracy. Medical Device industry experience is a plus.

3. Ability to work independently

4. Experience with ERP tools such as SAP or Oracle systems

5. Experience with Salesforce.com or other CRM systems

6. Demonstrate knowledge of various Incoterms, SOX compliance and ISO Quality standards

ADDITIONAL SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:

1. Excellent attention to details, time management and initiative

2. Must be capable of prioritizing, coordinating, and scheduling multiple resources

3. Proficiency in Microsoft Office specifically MS Excel

4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
