• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field

• Significant experience in a technical support role supporting a large-scale multisite enterprise environment

• Strong analytical skills and able to collate and interpret data from various sources

• Good communicator with a natural aptitude for dealing with people

• Good diagnostic skills across a Microsoft-based Enterprise stack with the ability to assess and priorities faults and respond or escalate accordingly

• In-depth understanding of Windows network protocols including DNS, DHCP, WINS, LDAP and Kerberos

• Good knowledge of Mobile Device Management tools and troubleshooting issues

• Practical Experience with Windows Server 2012 R2/2016

• Basic Sys Admin skills and PowerShell scripting

• Extensive and demonstrable experience of Incident and Problem Management, with an understanding of other ITIL processes, applied across multi-platform technologies

Technical Skills Knowledge/Skills/Experience


Working knowledge of deploying and supporting Windows Servers within a large-scale enterprise environment

Experience with Disaster Recovery techniques including backup and restoration technologies, replication strategies, fail-over and recovery

Knowledge of tracking assets and deploying software/updates using System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM)

Knowledge of monitoring tools such as System Center Operations Manager (SCOM)

Knowledge of VDI platforms and supporting remote desktop users


1. Experience with virtualisation, Hyper-V/VMWare

2. Knowledge of Clustering technologies

3. Good knowledge of Amazon Web Services (AWS) core services and connectivity options

4. Knowledge of supporting Office 365

5. Experience using Intune to manage mobile devices and applications
