Chemical Engineer - PROCESS / Production Support Engineer

Clients are SUCCESSION PLANNING and seeking key contributors for high profile roles and grooming for promotions. Salary $90,000 - $115,000 Plus Bonus, Benefits, & Paid Relocation to the Southern USA

As a Chemical Process Engineer, your responsibilities will be:

• Apply your engineering expertise, analyze data for trends, and identify process & operational improvements

• Drive improvements, process optimizations, and process controls to improve product quality, yields, energy, and other costs

• Conceive, design, and install small and medium size capital projects

• Provide chemical operators with understanding of the process and safety related procedures, including conducting classroom training

• Establish systems to gather data and monitor results to develop root causes of problems or to ensure a process modification will yield the desired results

• Apply sound root cause analysis techniques and creative alternatives to technical related problems

• Be knowledgeable of and comply with all safety and environmental regulations associated with the related process and modifications

• Stay current with industry developments and standards

• Maintain effective communications and working relationships with operators, maintenance, project engineering, contractor, administrative support, and R&D personnel.

Salary for this Chemical Engineering position ranges from $90,000 - $115,000. Additionally, there is a bonus, excellent big company benefits and a generous paid relocation program to the Southern USA. You’ll be near several lakes with access to some of the best fishing around! Requirements for this Chemical Engineer role:

• BS in Chemical Engineering

• Minimum of 3 years in a continuous process manufacturing experience required

• Experience in process design and improvements to include troubleshooting and debottlenecking

• Experience in developing material and energy balances to optimize yields

• Small to medium capital project experience

• Prior experience working with R&D chemists and QC labs

• YOU MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE IN A CHEMICAL PROCESS TYPE INDUSTRY such as: Specialty Chemicals, Pharmaceutical Intermediates, Pulp & Paper, Refinery, Polymers, etc.
