To ensure timely and accurate communication between the customer and the company and to provide high quality customer service while helping achieve sales goals


Education & Training – Bachelor’s Degree (engineering preferred) and/or pump sales experience preferred

Managerial Experience – none required

Job Requirements – computer entry and MS Office, report writing skills, sales data analysis, organization capabilities to handle scheduling and handle multiple requests for customer service, ability to successfully interface w/dist/reps/cust.

Technical Requirements – Ability to learn and apply pump application concepts


Essential Responsibilities

Provide high level of customer help and support

Providing front line factory product, application, and troubleshooting support

Implement sales promotion programs w/MM or GSM

Manage Product inquiries and producing quotations/acknowledgements

Act as primary contact for specific customers, as assigned

Verify component availability for customer orders and schedule Assembly department work required to fulfill them

Advise customers of delayed shipments and of orders scheduled outside of (5) days

Help the Field Sales Manager / Reps / Distributors

For pursuing and developing new sales leads

For field information gathering

For front line field troubleshooting and customer service

Secondary Responsibilities

Relaying information on customer feedback and new product requests

Provide input to ISM/MM/GSM for developing sales / marketing growth plans

Help provide information to produce an annual Inside Sales expense budget

Provide info for annual sales forecasting purposes

Make customer contact on an as needed basis, assisting FSM

Maintain “Show Pump Log”, including pump whereabouts

Ensure that literature requests are fulfilled

Create new BOM’s (basic only) and make minor corrections


Inside Salesperson reports to the Inside Sales Manager.

Frequent contact and cooperation with the:

1) Field Sales Manager

2) Marketing Manager / General Sales Manager

3) Materials Dept. via Sales Acknowledgement
