Software Engineer (0059-0016)

Designing and developing robust and scalable software applications using Python, with an emphasis on backend development and data processing, including working on every stage of ML (machine learning) and AI (artificial intelligence) projects, from the ideation to putting the entire technology stack into production.

Creating and maintaining unit and integration tests using Pytest to ensure software quality, while writing Python code to find anomalous patterns in data.

Leveraging AWS services, such as RDS, S3, and EKS, to build, deploy, and scale applications, and designing and implementing CI (continuous integration) and CD (continuous delivery) practices for the AI/ML team and integrating the ML operations.

Designing, implementing, and optimizing data pipelines using tools like Snowflake, and ensuring proper Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) processes are in place, including building data pipelines using Apache Kafka.

Administering and optimizing databases, with a special focus on Postgres, to ensure high performance and reliability.

Using Kubernetes and EKS for container orchestration, ensuring smooth deployment, scaling, and management of applications.

Implementing and optimizing REST APIs using frameworks like FastAPI to ensure efficient data retrieval and submission, leveraging experience with full stack software development using Python, Javascript, HTML, CSS and WebSockets.

Identifying and implementing cost optimization strategies for software and infrastructure to reduce overhead without sacrificing performance.

Constantly monitoring software performance and making necessary optimizations to ensure responsiveness and reliability.

Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, provide technical insight, and deliver on project milestones.

Working on full stack software development applications using Python, Javascript, HTML, CSS and WebSockets to deliver interactive interfaces for data and MLdriven services.

Fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the team.

Education and Experience Requirements
