Supports the preparation, coordination and filing of all required reports with the United States Securities and Exchange Commission ("SEC"), Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (“FERC”) and other required external financial reporting for the Company.

Responsible for coordinating, analyzing and assisting with the review of financial schedules and analyses in support of the Company's filings; researching new accounting guidance and SEC rules; providing support to the business; and providing support to the Company's external and internal auditors.

Responsible for ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of all assignments.

Provides technical expertise to support business partners throughout Company with a wide range of tasks and projects.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Provides analysis on financial information through the review of supporting documentation provided throughout the reporting process, business developments, and preparation of financial information.

Leads the coordination of the preparation of the Company’s quarterly and annual reporting: SEC reporting (Form 10-K, Form 10-Q, Form 8-K and registration statements as required) and FERC reporting.

Leads the preparation, formatting and tagging of SEC reports in preparation for filing: Includes updating reports in Wdesk software, conforming to Corporate Headquarter’s standards, performing XBRL tagging, and reviewing support for filings.

Reviewing and analyzing reporting documents to ensure consistency and accuracy of presentation and disclosure of subsidiary financial statements with companion of Corporate Headquarter’s period filings, along with assisting and preparing responses to information and data requests.

Leads the charge in performing research, analysis, resolution, coordination and documentation of Company’s accounting and reporting issues, in compliance with the Company’s non-routine transaction policy and other company and business unit issues.

Ensures development and implementation relative to new accounting guidance and SEC rules.

Analyzes, designs and implements process efficiencies, which includes conducting training and providing direction to other staff.

Provides analytical support to the regulated business units with federal and state regulatory filings and data requests. Conducts ad hoc analyses as needed.

Develops concise and accurate reports summarizing analytical results and recommendations. Ensures proper documentation of decisions.

Performs financial analysis for management on various ad hoc requests.

Helps support the Company's external and internal auditors, including the review of requested work papers and schedules.

Helps coordinate the Company’s significant accounting issues and any additional responsibilities as requested or assigned.

Establishes and maintains working relationships within the department and the Company; and maintains professional competence, knowledge and skills necessary to complete responsibilities.

Supports the Company's employee policies and procedures, including workplace safety rules.



Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: (Submission Summary)
