PRODUCTION PLANNER – Direct Hire / Anaheim, CA 92802

Must have experience in electromechanical manufacturing environment for consideration.


Fundamental role in achieving company’s ambitious planning & revenue growth objectives. Must be comfortable with high activity level, interfacing with various departments and be able to operate effectively & efficiently in a high-stress environment.


Interfaces with sales division to determine customer requirements & to develop/maintain long term forecast plans. Works with purchasing to ensure material support plans are in place to maintain production schedules. Establish & monitor production schedules, and production activity to ensure internal & external customer requirements are met, including daily data inputs.

Ensure adequate quantity & timing of material & product inventory within the supply chain to meet organizational goals. Works closely with production & warehouse teams to ensure that production schedules are being met & resolve issues that may hinder schedule adherence.

Releases & prints work order/traveler. Identifies and drives resolution of paperwork issues

Runs shortage reports & works with purchasing & engineering to resolve shortages. Reviews & approves ECN’s & ensures that proper material dispositions are executed. Print manuals & booklets that are shipped with sales orders. Work with RMA team to support advance replacement orders


High school diploma or GED; some college preferred. APICS Certification strong preference.

3-5 years experience in manufacturing / production planning. Excellent verbal and written communications skills. Strong listening and presentation skills. Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively in fast-paced environment with firm deadlines. Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills. Strong computer skills with proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel) and ERP systems. Knowledge of Supply Chain and Distribution Management. Ability to take direction as needed. Must understand sense of urgency.
