POSITION: Water Treatment Technical Sales Representative (Remote Position with 35% travel required)

This Water Treatment Sales position is focused on managing existing accounts and growing new business to drive the company market position within an assigned Territory. You will be responsible for retaining an existing Customer Base and for actively generating New Accounts. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. This requires the incumbent to have both SALES and TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE within the Water Treatment Industry.

About 1 to 5 years of relevant Sales Experience with Proven Track Record of generating Sales Revenue and maintaining and growing an Account Base

Must be able to identify and engage Key Decision Makers within existing accounts, prospect and COLD CALL generation, frequent follow up, utilize strategic questioning, and drive to root issues to identify customers’ needs

Strong Mechanical Aptitude and ability to perform PHYSICAL WORK in an HVAC, Cooling Towers, or Boiler Equipment Environment requiring exposure to chemicals, noise, hot and cold temperatures and inclement weather

Knowledge and understanding of Water Treatment with the ability to explain to customers what is needed to fix a problem or improve a system as well as the ability to TROUBLESHOOT technical and site-specific process issues

Bachelors Degree with Mechanical Engineering or Technical Background preferred

Must be Self-motivated with the ability to be a TEAM PLAYER

Excellent verbal and written communication skills (emails, comprehensive service reports, proposals, etc)

Fluency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
