Job Duties including but not limited to:

• Perform a full range of pharmacist procedures.

• Deliver comprehensive pharmaceutical services within the personnel, supply, and equipment capabilities of

the facility.

• Counsel patients regarding appropriate use of medications.

• Ensure accuracy of all pharmaceutical products prepared or processed by technical staff.

• Supervise inventory control of all pharmaceuticals in the pharmacy, especially scheduled pharmaceuticals,

and ensure pharmacy security. Maintain appropriate records and security of all scheduled controlled

substances according to applicable regulations.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education: Completion of the following:

• Doctor of pharmacy accredited by the American Council on Pharmaceutical Education (ACPE)

• Completion of a clinical pharmacy residency or fellowship accredited by the American Society of Health System Pharmacists or American College of Clinical Pharmacy or documentation of appropriate education, training, and/or CME in the practice of clinical pharmacy.

Experience:

• Ability to meet clinical competency requirements in the past two (2) years

Security:

• National Background Investigation

• Must be US Citizen

• Reliable transportation to and from work site

License/Certification and Training:

• Current Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) from American Heart Association

• Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) from the American Heart Association

• Current Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) from the American Heart Association

• Possess current, valid, unrestricted license to practice Pharmacy in any one of the fifty States, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, Guam or the U.S. Virgin Islands.

Schedule:

• Services can be required Sunday-Saturday

• 10 or 12 hour shifts. Day shifts (0500-2200), Night shifts (1800-0900), and weekends. Not to exceed 84 hours in a 2 week time period.
