Responsible for developing and executing wine education programs that will teach tasting room staff members, tasting room visitors, trade hospitality guests, and the surrounding community about regional wine styles, new releases, and the basics of tasting and enjoying wine.


• Develops and engages in programs, projects, and processes to educate tasting room staff members, tasting room visitors, trade hospitality guests, and the community about regional wine styles, winery brands.

• Meets with winemakers to learn about new releases, and changes within the wine industry; develops trainings to educate and deliver the correct message to staff and/or customers.

• Organizes, develops, and executes wine education courses for the community.

• Promotes and solicits “Large Group” event reservations for the winery.

• Works with management to develop, execute and host Trade and Hospitality Events.

• Participates in the tracking and recording of revenue statistics relating to wine education programs and group reservations; manages large group event billing.

• Supports tasting room personnel by interacting with winery visitors and serving as an additional informed source.

• Conducts product ordering, pick-up/transport, stocking/packing wine for the seminars and education groups.

• Prepares and coordinates other special projects to increase visitor traffic and develop brand recognition.

• Maintains satisfactory attendance, to include timeliness.

• Responsible for understanding and complying with applicable quality, environmental and safety regulatory consideration.
