Our client, a very well established banking and financial services provider within the Southeastern Region of the US is seeking an experienced, up and coming banking professional to join their regional team, located in Atlanta, GA to work in the capacity of Manager of Investment Reporting. The ideal candidate will possess experience leading a team of investor reporting/accounting specialists and have direct responsibility to manage performance, conduct performance reviews and directing work load


•Ensure accurate reporting, remitting, and reconciling.

•Monitor daily funding, reconciliation and loan release processing on system of record to include all loans funded and all loans sold or transferred on a particular day, as notified from secondary marketing and other departments.

•Adhere to all Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, Ginnie Mae and other investor guidelines.

•Research and resolve Test of Expected and/or Bank Reconciliation cash discrepancies as required.

•Answer inquiries from various departments, management team, as well as GSE entities.

•Assist management team with internal and external audits.

•Assist management team on projects relating to enhancements to the internal reporting system.

•Responsible for monthly payments to HUD/FHA and the reconcilement of funds into and out of the Custodial Account for HUD/FHA.

•Responsible for monthly HUD delinquency/termination reporting.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: (Submission Summary)

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or a related financial discipline is required.

7 - 10 years of Investor Reporting experience is required.

5 years of Mortgage Servicing experience is required.

2 or more years of leading and managing a team of direct reports with hire/fire responsibilities.

Knowledge of Test of Expected P&I process and reconciliation

Ability to read and understand Loan Modification and Note Documents

Knowledge of FNMA, Freddie Mac, and GNMA website/portal processing is required.

Knowledge of GSE Reporting of Actual/Actual, Schedule/Actual, and Schedule/Schedule

Loan Level and Schedule/Schedule Pool remittance types

Experience working within Loan Operating System (LOS)

Strong analytical and problem solving skills are required.

Strong communications skills (i.e. verbal, written and interpersonal) are required.

Proficiency utilizing MS Office (i.e. MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and MS Outlook) is required.

Previous experience and ability to work effectively and collaborating at C-Level is preferred.
