Our client, one of the world''s leading medical technology suppliers is seeking an experienced regulatory compliance professional, to join their team, located in Westchester County, NY, to work in the capacity of Customer Support Engineer. The ideal candidate will possess experience providing a full range of installation services and preventive and corrective maintenance, on the assigned set of systems manufactured by client.

Responsibilities

•Train customers on routine to advanced system operation and maintenance.

•Conduct special site or system environmental analysis tests as assigned by management to diagnose system problems or qualify sites as accep.

•Following proscribed procedures, correctly order and obtain spare parts and also expedite the return of any defective materials as may be required.

•Liaise and schedule assigned service activities with the customer and ensure client Service Management, Customer Interaction Center, and when appropriate, the Sales Account Manager is kept aware as required.

•Serves as the client customer interface for all service matters, including coordinating any service sub-contractor activity as may be required.

•Complete all necessary forms and reports in support of department and company data collection efforts such as but not limited to, expense reports, service reports, quality reports, etc. in prescribed timeframe as established by management.

•Properly care for all client tools and assets as may be made available during the execution of assigned responsibilities.

•Assists customers to diagnose complex system problems via telephone, email as well as when on site.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: (Submission Summary)

1. Bachelor’s Degree or technical certificate in a technical/scientific discipline, related military electronics experience or an equivalent combination of training is required.

2. 5 – 7 years of direct experience building, maintaining, installing, and/or repairing similarly complex automated electromechanical systems is required.

3. Advanced understanding and ability to troubleshoot problems in software, electronics, optics and electron optics, high voltage, high vacuum, mechanical, and electro mechanical systems is required.

4. Experienced with Windows operating environments and word processing and or email applications as well as with databases or CRM Systems is required.

5. Read and understand electrical or mechanical engineering documentation and schematics.

6. Participation of six months to one-year of formal training as a Customer Support Engineer and proficiently maintains all duties and associated responsibilities.

7. Excellent communication skills (i.e. verbal, written, organizational and interpersonal) are required.

8. Proficiency utilizing MS Office (i.e. MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Outlook and MS Project) is required.

9. Ability to function effectively in a fast paced environment and multi-tasking is required.

10. Capable to lift 60 lbs safely is required.

11. Travel by car or commercial transportation to customer facility.

12. Valid US Driver’s license required.

13. Frequent overnight travel, domestic and international (average 50%) is required.
