Human Resources Generalist - $80-90K + 10% Bonus – Consumer Products Manufacturing - Job Duties: Improving the effectiveness of human resource programs; Developing strategies to improve employee satisfaction, management-employee relations, and working conditions; Evaluating current human resources policies and programs by visiting worksites and communicating with employees regarding related issues; Providing work direction for staff employees; Developing, implementing and coordinating policies and procedures for the HR department; Counseling and dispute resolution for employee issues; Providing guidance to supervisors and managers dealing with labor relations issues; Assisting in the negotiation and administration of labor contracts; Recruiting and hiring qualified candidates following EEO and ADA hiring guidelines for exempt and non-exempt positions; Coordinating and overseeing Affirmative Action programs; Ensuring compliance audits are performed.

BS degree required, MS/MBA a plus, SPHR/ PHR, a plus - 5+ years of Human Resources experience in manufacturing facility. Union/Labor Relations experience required (300 employee union facility). Knowledge of local, state and federal laws and regulations regarding employment practices; 3+ years HR management and leadership experience; Lean, six sigma, continuous improvement experience essential. KPI/metrics experience also required. Able to multi-task, handle a diverse employee population, and has good problem-solving skills; Knowledge of Ceridian/KRONOS payroll systems is a plus; Excellent verbal and written communication skills; Proficient with MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
