Overview:

IB is seeking a senior level Network Engineer to join our Greenwich, CT engineering staff. This individual will be part of a team responsible for design, installation and maintenance of all network and system infrastructure related to Interactive Brokers’ global enterprise. Applicants must have vast experience with the latest architectural network design concepts, in-depth network routing and switching, implementation and troubleshooting. Familiarity with telecommunications concepts, structured cabling, network management systems and multicast routing a plus. A keen understanding and insight to industry technologies, evolutions, pitfalls and trends is also a must.

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities will include network design, installation, monitoring, wiring and maintenance of all local and wide area voice and data systems dedicated to supporting our business. This individual will also share day to day responsibility for the Greenwich, CT data center’s physical plant and the supervision of preventative and emergency maintenance activities.

Cisco professionally trained individuals with certifications relating to advanced level troubleshooting and network architectural skills are preferred. Additionally, the successful candidate will possess excellent written and verbal communications skills.
