Role and Responsibilities:

Our client is a leading manufacturer of architectural building products and is currently seeking a Regional Sales Manager. This person can be based out of Muskego, WI or work out of the Chicago, IL area.

The person in this position will be responsible for identifying, developing, and maintaining new account sales and increasing existing account sales through the use of territory business plans, marketing objective and strategic territory planning.

This position will also provide technical support to inside team members, along with frequent conference calls to architects, designers and contractors to discuss product line, identify potential install issues and assist in troubleshooting any install questions.

Furthermore, this position requires guidance of Outside Sales Representative activities regarding Ascend initiatives and will eventually be responsible for supporting an independent representative network.

Ideal candidate will be highly motivated, very focused and be able to work independently as well as in a team environment. 50% travel per month and Bachelor's Degree or equivalent industry experience required.

You will have ownership for maximizing sales and ensuring market penetration with existing accounts, as well as actively pursuing new customers and developing new opportunities. As you maintain and build strong relationships across our customer base, you will also gain recognition as an industry resource and product expert.

A day in the life of this position will include appointments with Architects, Interior Designers, Contractors as well as Facility End Users.

The ideal candidate will:

* Reside in close proximity to Muskego WI (preferred) or in Chicago

* Be passionate about selling products that are of the highest quality and value in their class

* Be energized by working for a world-class manufacturer and collaborating on cross-functional teams

* Recognize the importance of building and maintaining strong interpersonal relationships

* Have a minimum of 3 years sales experience

* Have a bachelor’s degree

* Demonstrate excellent presentation and computer skills
