The Product Management team leads the definition of product value propositions and the delivery of those value propositions through our diverse sales channels. Our suite of value added products exists to deliver comfort, convenience and control that improves the everyday life of energy users at home and at work. Each Product Manager owns the planning and execution of sales campaigns for one or more value added product(s), and ultimately the product-level financial results.

Your Key Accountabilities

Define and deliver a clear and quantified product value proposition that is unique and sustainable

Plan and coordinate the execution of marketing and sales campaigns to drive product penetration, engagement and revenue, including the maintenance of a marketing calendar – coordinating with customer experience, marketing, and channel management teams, and with other product managers

Develop customer communications and interactions that bring the product value proposition and Just Energy’s strategy to life

Deliver product training and review actual customer interactions to identify opportunities

Design and monitor service and operational processes to increase product Net Promoter Score and awareness and decrease customer effort – coordinating with customer experience, operations, IT and finance teams

Analyze and act on KPIs, including financial performance, to deliver results in line with business plans

Manage third party vendors that supply value added products or related services. Set and monitor service levels, manage daily communications, etc.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

1. Undergraduate Degree

2. 3+ years of experience in Product Management, Marketing, Strategy or Pricing

3. 2+ years of experience creating and leading execution of cross-functional project plans

4. Multi-year track record of tracking KPIs and delivering on targets that demonstrate customer love for a product

5. Experience handling multiple simultaneous projects in a fast paced, deadline driven, matrix environment

6. Thinks about the big picture and delivers on the details, on time and on budget

7. Builds personal relationships with people within and outside Just Energy, creating a shared commitment to success

8. Conveys complex ideas succinctly and precisely

9. Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills

10.Travel within North America required quarterly, oveseas travel may be required

11.Graduate degree in marketing, finance, or MBA

12.Professional certification as a project manager or energy manager

13.Experience with Product Management, Marketing, Strategy or Pricing in retail energy, home services and/or smart home

14.Proven analytical skills and experience performing channel mix analysis, including ROI scenario analysis

15.Exposure to a broad range of consumer marketing techniques (e.g., digital, social media, community/affinity marketing, retail store, inbound cross-sales, etc).

16.Experience managing products at mature phases of lifecycle, including re-launch and retirement scenarios

17.Experience managing field services or logistics teams

18.Experience with collaboration tools such as MS Project and MS SharePoint
