- Coordinate, liaise and network between insurance companies regarding eligibility, payments, approvals, reconciliation and other requirements -

Follow-up on approvals to perform medical procedures with case managers at third party insurance companies.

- Responsible for filing and tracking insurance claims and informing patients of their claims status.

- Liaise with patients regarding their eligibility and entitlements. Verify new patient insurance and re-verify that of patients coming back on service. - Maintain strict confidentiality related to medical records and other data.

- Ensure coverage of claims, guide staff on process.

- Coordinate with insurance companies for obtaining information on new policies and coverage.

- Explain coverage of medical benefits to patients.

- Assist invoicing department for insurance processing and billing.

- Network with insurance companies to obtain accreditation as required.

- Liaise with insurance companies regarding eligibility, payments, approvals, reconciliation and other requirements. Prepare insurance forms and associated correspondences.

- Educate staff in insurance matters and assist to advice the management on insurance matters.

- Follow protocol for insurance practices in the hospital.

- Populate data into the computer as needed and maintain updated records related to pre-approvals and reconciliation.

- Coordinate and co-operate with colleagues of the same department and other related departments for smooth running of Insurance operations.

Educational Qualification: Graduate

Professional Experience: Minimum 1 year in Hospital.


- Able to build strong rapport with Physicians, employees, patients and Insurance companies.

- Should be able to relate people from different cultural backgrounds.

- High Degree of Self-motivation and Self-discipline.

- Should be able to perform multi-task and should possess Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance practices.

- Professional, organized, reliable, team player. Research and resolve insurance billing issues.

- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.

- Strong interpersonal skills.

- Strong organizational skills; attention to detail.

- Understanding of private and government insurance.

- Ability to proficiently use Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, Power Point.


- Preference would be given to aspirants willing to relocate to Hebbal, Bangalore.

- Hostel Facility would be provided for Male Candidates.
