Job Description:

Summary:

The Sales Administrator will be responsible for providing administrative and clerical support to Director of Sales and the Sales Manager. The Sales Administrator will be responsible for timely customer order entry, release and forecast data entry, data entry for reports and customer communications.

Responsibilities:

Review and process all incoming purchase orders accurately; confirm contact and billing information, order specifications, pricing, as well as purchasing order terms and conditions.

Ensure order accuracy by maintaining data integrity during the order entry process in PTG’s ERP System and EDI communications for PO’s.

Responsible for updating Customer Information, Shipping Releases, New Customers, New Parts for the sales department.

Provide administrative support to Director of Sales and Sales Manager by completing Presentations, Data Information Gathering, Filing, Reporting and Administrative Duties as assigned.

Answer inbound PTG calls (this duty is split with the HR Administrator).

Abide by the procedures of client, Quality System -TS/16949.

Provide support to Sales Team as needed; Coordination of Trade Shows, Marketing Events and Direct Mail Marketing.

Meet KPI goals as outline by management.

Qualifications:

To perform this job successfully, and individual must be able to perform each essential responsibility in satisfactory manner.

Required Education/Skills and Abilities:

Requires High School Diploma. Further education may be required for advancement in the department. A minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a customer service or administration role.

Computer Skills/Proficiency:

Strong computer skills/computer literacy required; must be proficient in using Microsoft Windows Operating System, and Microsoft Office Word and Excel application software, e-mail and other 3rd party software; TCM software experience a plus.
