Play a leading role in sales and distribution efforts for licensing deliverable AMNH-produced content to other institutions (including traveling exhibitions, intellectual property, and planetarium content). Promote content at conferences and through Museum and vendor networks, distribute marketing materials, identify/target and develop prospects, prepare offerings, and negotiate contracts. Form relationships with representatives from cultural institutions worldwide. Maintain a network of strategic alliances. Keep salesforce database up to date and maintain progress and pipeline reports, travel plans, and collaborator reports. Keep full team agenda updated for weekly meeting with ops and strategy. Search for new venues and create marketing materials. Work closely with Traveling Exhibitions Operations to ensure clear communication, on-time delivery, product integrity, and customer satisfaction. Monitor post-installation fulfillment. Coordinate technical support. Represent the Department at exhibitions incubation meetings. Create reports on competitive content, provide venue feedback and brainstorm ideas. Maintain customer contact for contract renewals, leads/referrals, and future sales opportunities.
