Description:

• Provides administrative and secretarial support to the Executive Assistant of the Clinical Research, Oncology Business Group on day-to-day priorities and assignments to ensure consistent/compliant support to department staff .

• Responsible for maintaining calendars and calendar updates, travel arrangements, scheduling internal and external meetings as required and facilitating the overall coordination of the executive activities. Job responsibilities may include various projects as needed.

Job Qualifications:

• 5+ years related administrative experience supporting multiple individuals (Pharma required)

• Associates Degree is preferred

• Experience w/Concur T&E system

• Responds to inquiries from internal personnel and external customers using proper judgment and initiative to ensure critical issues are handled appropriately.

• Ability to present one self in a professional manner, respect for confidentiality and ability to manage individual relationships with diplomacy required

• Highly proactive individual with the ability to plan and manage routine tasks/long-term projects with minimum supervision

• Ability to handle a large variety of details and to work with all levels of organizations

• Proficiency with use of email, standard PC applications (MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel) and use of the Internet. Special emphasis will be placed on advanced skills in MS Word.
