Major purpose: In this position, the General Accountant will support the Accounting team and perform the following duties/responsibilities:

• Performs general ledger functions

• Prepare cash receipts

• Prepare bank reconciliations, journal entries, and basic accounting functions

• Manage and maintain Fixed Assets

• Assist with Month-End Close

• Prepare internal reports for management and other agencies

• Other analytical, reporting, or supporting duties as deemed necessary

Major functions:

Technical/Functional skills:

Education/Experience/Licenses etc.: Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Business Administration

• Minimum one year accounting experience

• Experience with MS Office Suite

• Experience with FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulation) and/or CAS (Cost Accounting Standards) is a plus

• Experience with Costpoint is a plus.
