Growing company is seeking a first shift Electrical Engineer for their industrial manufacturing facility in Wisconsin. You might have had the title Senior Electrical Engineer, Electrical Supervisor, Project Electrical Engineer, Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Group), or Electrical Maintenance Engineer; if so, read on as this is your opportunity to join a great group of engineers with a team consisting of electrical, mechanical, reliability, and process control engineers. There is room to move up in this company that appreciates its’ engineers. They pay well & promote well.

To be considered for this position in the heart of the Badger State, you’ll need:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, or closely related discipline

• Solid understanding of the electrical distribution process and familiarity with PLC’s & variable frequency drives, such as ABB & Allen Bradley

• Be able to install and troubleshoot PLCs, VFD’s, and electrical systems

• Safety training, especially familiarity with NFPA

• Able to travel - less than 10% travel and that is mostly for training

• Experience in an automotive, metal fabrication, pulp & paper, paper converting, nonwovens, metal processing, electronics, or an industry that relies heavily on PLC & DCS (Delta V) for production line automation.

You main focus is to:

• Bring the electrical and process controls systems to a predictive status and be less reactive

• Prevent big issues that create downtime

• Implement a continuous improvements mindset

• Work with the engineering team on capital projects, such as scope development and up-to-date/updating electrical drawings

• Handle major maintenance issues on the electrical systems

• Work with capital projects plans & budgets.

• Assist the maintenance mechanics & other skilled craft employees on electrical issues
