You will be designing the Next Big Thing as your job is to design products using top-of-the-line equipment & resources. Our client has facilities all over the world and is responsible for over 100,000 different products. They are the leader in their industry and you will have a chance to work with some of the best Engineers in the business as you are groomed for the next step of your career.

This Project Design Engineering position has the following requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering

• At least 3 years design experience in electronic high speed cable / connector assemblies

• At least 1 year in a Project engineering role

• Design experience with 3-D and 2D

• Experience with die casts, stamped sheet metal, molded plastics, tooling

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to express complex technical concepts clearly and concisely

• Analytical ability to apply logical reasoning, test assumptions and make corrections

• Knowledge of SPC (Statistical Process Control)

• Experience with finite element modeling and solid modeling.

Day-to-day responsibilities as a Project Design Engineer will include:

• Design and develop state-of-the-art high-speed gigabit assemblies

• Lead product development process & participate in the activities of product development team

• Manage the product modifications through the complete implementation process

• Work with Project management teams
