The Warehouse shift supervisor is designed to direct the workforce on day-to-day operational, safety, and people issues in raw material warehouse and the offsite distribution warehouses. This position is for the Graveyard shift(12am-8am).


Communicate with other shifts as to production / logistics needs or issues.

Productivity / Logistics goals are met by establishing clear goals, providing requisite resources to direct reports, ensuring proper equipment care/maintenance, and engaging the workforce.

Safety goals are met by following defined safety procedures, encouraging involvement, following up on safety concerns, and modeling proper safe behaviors.

Engagement is achieved by providing leadership on the shift. This includes listening and responding to employee issues, taking decisive actions, recognizing excellent performance, and holding employees accountable for undesirable behaviors.

Quality/Waste goals are achieved by ensuring all direct reports are properly trained on their equipment, performing requisite inspections, and following up on suggested improvements.

Effectively communicate both up and down the organization on key issues and across shifts (e.g. daily crew meetings, performance/1-on-1’s, CSA’s, overtime plans, etc.)

Directly supervise approximately 25 employees from the raw material department and 15 from offsite distribution warehouses including a hourly distribution warehouse group leader.

Number of Warehouses 4 Warehouses: 1 Onsite, 3 Offsite


College Degree highly preferred

3+ years experience as a warehouse supervisor preferred

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Able to lead a team

Problem solving ability (TCC/Trouble Cause Correction)

Process Improvement (Lean, Six Sigma, 5S or other discipline) desired
