Accounting Manager with General Accounting, Timberline/Sage300 Exp

My client is looking for an Accounting Manager for their location in San Rafael, CA. This is a Permanent Position. Local candidates only.


• Job cost budget entries, basic budget vs. costs analysis

• Assist in departmental reconciliation of accounts

• A/R contract set-up and project billings

• A/P O/H and subcontractor payment entry & processing

• Supervise a Job-Cost Accounting staff of 3

• Monitor accounts receivable on projects in coordination with PM; send reminders and make collection calls as necessary

• Maintain depreciation schedule and input related GL entries

• Perform Month-End Closing and Reconciliations of G/L and Sub-Ledgers

• Month-End Financial Statements and Work-In-Progress reports preparation


• Degree in accounting/finance and 4 years related experience required.

• Must be knowledgeable in general accounting principles.

• Computer skills (MSWord, Excel etc.).

• Construction industry knowledge is preferred

• Timberline/Sage300 and HCSS software use a major plus.
