Skills/Experience:

• Call Center experience

- Pharmacy background or MD office preferred

• Benefit investigation experience and a full understanding of health insurance benefits

• Previous interaction with HCP’s, plans and specialty pharmacies

• High attention to detail and data entry with minimal errors

Responsibilities:

• Educates patients, their families and health care professionals in the use of the organization's products and services.

• Organizes and conducts classes and individual meetings to demonstrate how the organization's products and services contribute to the maintenance and improvement of health and/or the management of specific diseases and physical conditions. Prepares and distributes educational and instructional material (e.g., booklets, promotional kits).

• May expand patient pool through participation in referral and screening programs.

• Provides information and suggestions to sales and/or medical representatives and management on the results of educational programs, including comments and questions from patients and health care professionals.
