INSPECTOR - Immediate Temp-to-Hire position available / El Monte, CA. 91731

This position requires use of information which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee. Must be able to successfully pass a drug screen, criminal background check and pre-employment physical.

Aerospace parts manufacturing company looking for a motivated, self-starter.


Experience in receiving, first article, in process, and final inspection. Must be proficient in the use of calipers, micrometers, and optical comparators. AS9100 &/or NADCAP background preferred.

Must be able to read & understand blueprints & other aerospace documents. Must have good communications skills / command of the English language. (Friendly) - ability to interact effectively with co-workers, vendors, management, etc. Attn to detail & ability to perform repetitive tasks a must. Computer skills to include Word, Excel, Email. Must be able to meet attendance & punctuality guidelines (very important).

PLUSES: Experience using a spring tester. First articles per AS 9102, corrective action resolution and reporting, calibration experience, working with source people, internal auditing background, SPC experience.

DUTIES: Inspecting springs (all types), wireforms, and light stampings. Perform documentation of inspections and long-term goal to be trained working with source inspectors.

MISC: Work hours are 6am to 230pm. Must be able to work mandatory OT when needed. Salary will depend on experience and past verifiable history.
