Hiring for Wafer Fab Operators (Cleanroom) in Fremont, CA.

Base pay is $15 with a 12.5% shift differential on the graveyard shift only

Compressed work week. This means more weekend time to yourself!

A shift (graveyard) : 5pm - 5am; Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and every other Saturday

B shift: 5am - 5pm; Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and every other Wednesday

C shift (graveyard): 5pm - 5am; Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and every other Saturday

D shift: 5am - 5pm; Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and every other Wednesday

JOB DESCRIPTION: Assembles small parts/components following complex patterns/diagrams, modifying printed circuit boards, interpreting blueprints or technical drawings. May do soldering by machine or hand. May serve as a work group leader or trainer.

SKILLS: Ability to follow established procedures. Clean room environment. Basic computer skills.

• Working in a clean room wearing a full bunny suit (no makeup; perfume; hairspray, etc.)

• Responsible for operations associated with wafer fabrication, including thin films, photolithography, electroplating, etching, lapping and probe

• Perform set-up, calibration and preventative maintenance tasks on wafer fabrication equipment, encompassing various aspects of wafer manufacturing and engineering technician functions

• Collect and evaluate operating data to conduct on-line equipment adjustment and ensure process optimization

• Perform in-process operations such as assembly, measuring, visual inspection and electrical testing to ensure processes and products meet specifications

• Use sophisticated customized programs to track and control material and equipment in the production process

• May operate equipment used in the process such as microscopes, coaters, aligners, steppers, developers, lapping machines, electroplating stations, high vacuum sputtering, probe, ion mills, chemical etch stations, profilometers, x-ray fluorescence, atomic force microscopy, scanning electron microscopy

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
