Support

Assists IT Manager with user and system-related issues to include desktop & server support/troubleshooting, printer and other peripheral/hardware-related troubleshooting and management.

Software

PhoneTree - Performs monthly testing and troubleshooting of the PhoneTree software and processes; initiates PhoneTree processes in live inclement weather situations.

Sage and Sage Exchange - Training and implementation of the company’s ERP system (Sage 100); provides ongoing support and training to R.H. Boyd staff as needed.

ShoreTel Phone System - Assists IT manager as needed with maintaining and troubleshooting all company phone system (ShoreTel) issues.

Satori Bulk Mailer - Maintaining software and validating Mailing Lists.

HalFile - Responsible for installation and troubleshooting of the company’s document management & scanning software.

Microsoft Office365 – Assists with managing user access credentials.

Microsoft Office – Install, upgrade and troubleshoot MS Office systems (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, Outlook) as required.

Active Directory – Network User Account Management, maintaining user access to the RHB Network and computer systems.

Reporting

Business Reports - Serves as the company’s designated staff responsible for creating, updating and maintaining any and all Sage custom ad-hoc reports. Creates and maintains any custom Sage reports needed to aid in ensuring that all Standing Orders are processed properly and in accordance with the company’s standard processes.

Departmental Reports – Assist IT Manager with departmental reporting (Division Report, Director Report, etc.).

Mailing List

Responsible for maintaining, de-duplicating and validating all of the company’s customer-related mailings utilizing Satori Bulk Mailer address validation software. Mailings include, but are not limited to, Union Review, Order Blank/Catalog, Spring Supplement catalog, Congress Messengers, Congress Pastors and any other mailings as designated by the President/CEO and/or Chief Operating Officer.

Forms Management

Assists IT Manager and Graphic Designers with creation and maintenance of any and all fillable Adobe Acrobat forms as needed.

Website

Website Maintenance - Assists the IT Manager, under the direction of the Chief Operating Officer, with company website updates, uploading/updating quarterly online activities and item maintenance when instructed.

Website Interface - Assists R.H. Boyd’s website management company,

Website Pipeline, with any and all testing of new site processes, feature implementations and troubleshooting as needed.

Standing Orders

Responsible for generating and monitoring the company’s quarterly Standing Orders utilizing the company’s Sage 100 ERP software; ensures all orders are generated correctly and timely; works with

Customer Service, Accounts Receivable and Shipping staff to ensure all orders are released from hold status as necessary, all picking sheets are printed and all orders are invoiced/posted.

Off Site Events

National Baptist Congress - Assists IT Manager with preparation and implementation of IT-related needs for the company’s annual event; assists other Congress staff with attendee registration and questions as needed.

Supervisor Retreat - Assists IT Manager with preparation of IT’s presentation for the company’s annual Supervisor Retreat event; includes providing assistance as needed with securing necessary information regarding the IT-related hardware and network needs of the event; may assist the IT Manager with setup and monitoring of Division presentations during the event.

Vendor Relations

Assists IT Manager with interfacing between vendor support, vendor sales and the business needs of R.H. Boyd Publishing. Work with vendors as a tier 2 or tier 3 line of support as needed to resolve system issues.
